Project Overview

Kamalaya Resort in Koh Samui is one of Asia’s leading wellness retreats. For their website redesign, I collaborated closely with Thomas Zerlauth, who led the project and created the design. My main role was the technical implementation in WordPress, including a custom database, custom fields, and the integration of their booking software.

Working with Thomas was particularly dynamic—he’s a highly creative entrepreneur who is hands-on in every project. I also introduced him to WordPress and Elementor, guiding him through this and future projects. Additionally, Suhini Rathnayake, a Kamalaya team member, contributed content, and I trained her on content management.

After the successful launch of the Kamalaya Resort website, I continued working with Thomas Zerlauth on several other projects, including Kamalaya Connect, FlowHotels, and HealingGuide. Over the course of a year or two, I provided WordPress development, technical consulting, and database solutions, helping to bring his creative visions to life with functional, high-performance websites.
